the Protest
Took a quick shower, one of the fastest in recent days. Just in case the police thought I was someone important to be put behind bars. I didn’t want to be the Stinky Protestor! Fat chance. I knew that. Still, you should do things that make you feel important. Haha. And I ran, ran like crazy.. You sure missed the sight man; Zade running for her Olympic gold .My dog was at my heels. Hey You Kale, why the hell aren’t you a horse I scolded the dog. Dashed off clutching my watch. I stopped at the bridge to check out the time. And know wht, my T.V (as Diwas calls it) looked as though it was running too, I mean showing blurred digits. I tapped on it and then it was fine. No vehicle on the road ran once again. Reached Jadibuti..hailed a cab got in. Baneshwor I told the man. Baneshwor it was in ten minutes. And to my utter surprise, saw Sofiya.( well she was 3 batch my junior in school, I had some fan club haha..and she still remembers me, I mean we’re still in touch..that’s an understatement We are too much in touch..sending too many messages though we haven’t met in ages) Hey Sofi, I clamored. Oh God You . She went. Gave me a hug. She’s 5’ 6’’ and still growing, I felt tiny but great.
Gotta go hons, Happy New Year. Have fun…am to protest I said. I ran towards the people clad in blue jackets. Caught the sight of one of the HR monitor who had been stationed at Koteshwor with me some days back. Namaste I said N Damnation that hell of a Budo acted as if he never knew me. HYPOCRITE! I wanted to yell. Bichara Budo bhayera Smaran shakti kamjor bhako jasto cha. Some Baburam buda, so irritating. I mean what do they think of themselves..Hysh, Jaz you wanna be activists too hoina? Will punch you if you ever turn sth like that ! Wht the hell am I blabbering man! We’re different. Hoina ta? For us it is not going to be “Try to change the system and the system changes you, one more addition in that crowd of Hypocrites”. By the way have never met a real Activist other That Somat Sir. He Rocks hai? (Oh and I like his interpretation of Civic society..Sadabahar Sadak) Aru ko ta Swang nai badta. Dui char thhapad napugeka haru..hahaheheheh.
Then it began. Loktantra bhandai thiye Police caught em. My boss was one on them. It’s nothing interesting when they catch the so-called biggies. For them being caught is a matter of enhancing prestige, be in the news and stuff like you wrote in ur blog sometime ago..Hysh.. It’s the NGO fashion. A ramp on the road. Later the onlookers’ a woman was talking to the police questioning their atrocities. Then she lead the crowd shouting slogans like “ rajtantra hai hai, loktantra …(bye ho ki hai) But both the terms have a negative connotation hoina?..well it was something rhyming though. The other pedestrians were applauding for her. The mamus only dispersed the crowd, nothing more. I squeezed myself through the crowd and got some photos but this space, don’t know why but doesn’t accept photoz in btwn text. It is so jhare. Maybe will put it in my photo album, maybe I won’t whtever.
Office time then. Its is work ur butt off when something like this happens. When it is ur office head that’s caught then there is nothing better…Press release cum New year greetings…man I was about to go crazy having to design the card time and again..(I am not a know it all hahah as many love to presume..hehe.It was plain, I don’t know Macromedia dream weaver, photoshop,imageready stuff) Still the Outlook express..how jhare. The good thing was Mr MP’s comment on my entry below.

i once had a dog named “kale” too, he was one of the smartest dogs that i’ve known. and often times i prefer dogs to people, they alway seem to have more compassion than people. at least dog owners are tolerable
i survived my prof (whew!!!) i had to explain what nepali new year was to him though, and the question he asked was, what happened at year 0? as opposed to jesus being born (or crucified i forget which on 0AD). i honestly do not know the answer.

well maybe, but we still are nepalis nevertheless, and the guy is going places. great “pragati” for a young guy and we should appreciate that and be happy for him. his was an original idea. it’s samudaya that i cannot stand (hope you do not write there) hehehe if you do please understand i meant no offence, my bad.

ani daz, dont ever think of giving up writing. There will definitely be critics as we have already seen in Martin Chautari. So keep writing. Though it might not matter to some and think that it is just a waste of time but for people like us it is still worth reading and worth pondering over. we can’t stop people from hating us but we can at least try to make happier those who appreciate , right???

aba desh ko sthiti ko barema ta ke bhanne. hamro raja lai chhai kehi chai garnu parne ho ke. yetro manchhe sadak ma aye pachhi ta kehi ta bhannu parne garnu parne. but he acts so normal with his smile on his face. That sucks and is so irritating.
aba ta yo bahek aru kehi ko bare ma discuss garnu parla jasto chha. what say??? I was wondering jana and somat sir haru ke gardai chhan hola hai?? Aree they moving on with their NGO stuffs hai???

ah Jaz man, this banda is killin me too. Ani thanks for ur encouraging words dude, you have such exact, to the point things to say, I mean especially when I am down and low. Like in the Constitution B thing and even this. You just made my nite! Surely man, now tht u’ve said it nothing is gonna stop me from writing for the people who appreciate it n all the ones who are happier after reading each entry. Ani malai rag garne ke kura ho testo? Hope it is not sth like this.
Hys and I were having a series of messagin session ani she’d written “ur kids wil b blogin b4 they know how 2 speak!” My exact reply ‘ every guy I know has gf . Fat chance of having kids!” hahaha. Boru Aijawa ko halkhabar ke cha ni dear?
By the way did u check out Jana’s mail to our yahoo grp, it had questions for Gyane. I haven’t mailed Toshio and neither has he. Its high time I did. That has been the longest pending self-assignment in my case. Now since, this blog has been ur entertainment. I have sth really interesting coming up and yes specially 4 ur divine eyes. ahahah.
