The guy smiled. I was back.
The smile must have nearly killed me. But dying wasn’t an option.
I was a customer after all not a lover.
Five minutes and ….turned off. Not me, the computer. I was in a cyber café. There was nothing he could charge me.

The sun was out by the time I stepped outside on the streets. Incessant rain, snow and the sun peeping through the clouds. Could Kathmandu get any more romantic on a Valentine’s day? The day was good…hmm only Good? Nah.it was GREAT.

A friend emailed this article to me about 16 hours ago,my Gmail account informs. I am calculating if that was before I Got on the person’s Nerves Or After. Nevertheless Sorry dearest friend. My Fault Again! To err is human I know but to err again and again I don’t know what that makes me, must be a devil! LOL But as discreet as it is I am thankful for the email. Today on Valentine’s Day, high school hallways and college courtyards will be scattered with flowers. Young women at work will peek at the personal ads online, and dish about who got what.

They may confess to having a crush on their chemistry partner, or confide to a friend that the guy in the cubicle next to them is “really hot.” What they probably won’t say is “I love him” or anything close to it. Because while they may enjoy the trappings of love, many young women believe that being in love, at least right now, is impractical, foolish, a sign of weakness or even unattainable.

Evie Lalangas, a communications specialist at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, is talking about this over lattes on a Sunday afternoon with several friends in their early 20s.
