.. tHoUgHts

There are a few things in my head at the moment and they NEED to be WRITTEN. A full length entry on each issue or an article would be the best thing to do but that will have wait and maybe stay unwritten as they won’t be ‘new’ enough when I have the time to do so. The first issue gnawing my senses is the smearing of ‘Kalo mosho’ on the TU Upakulpathi’s face. Simply put, it’s the PINNACLE of anarchy in this nation. Shameful, the worst ‘thing’ that can happen to every breathing student in this country I believe. I have this strong ‘urge’ to write on it but I can’t devote enough time for that….not until my own test is over. Haven’t we all seen ENOUGH of Maoists now? And yah I got ‘thoughts’ on this Maoist n Chief of Army Debate too but again no time to ‘dwell’ on it.

भजन आतंक र नयाँ वर्ष

मनोहरा पारी ललितपुर जिल्लामा टीकाथली नामक एक ठाउँ छ । त्यहाँका बासिन्दा पक्कै पनि विभिन्न पेशामा संलग्न होलान् तर मेरो बुझाईमा ती सबको एउटै पेशा छ — बाहैमासे भजन आतंक मच्चाउनु । अचम्मको कुरो के भने मैले यो ब्लग सुरु के गरेको थिएँ भजन रोक्कियो ! तर त्यो सायद आँधी अगाडीको सन्नाटा मात्रा हो । नभन्दै हार्मोनियम बज्न थालिहाल्यो । अघि भर्खरसम्म एक सज्जन भनुँ कि दुजर्न रक स्टार शैलीमा ‘बम बम भोले’ गाउँदै होइन– चिच्याउँदै थिए । स्वर पनि आफ्नै चिच्चाहटले बाँकी सबको कानको जाली फुटाउँदै छु भन्ने पूर्ण ज्ञान भएकाले हाँस्दै कराएको जस्तो थियो । तपाईहरुले मेरो कुरा बुझ्नु भयो कि भएन त्यो त मलाई थाह भएन तर म र मेरी बहिनीलाई चाहिँ ती शिवभक्तले निकै हँसाए ।

तर एकछिनको बाध्यात्मक मनोरञ्जन र दिनरातको भजन आतंक दुई नितान्त बेग्लै कुरा हुन् । धर्मको कुरा पर्यो कुनै मानिस वर्षको एक दिन भजन गाउँछ वा ३६५ दिन नै भजन गावोस् त्यो मेरो सरोकारको विषय होइन । तर जब त्यो भजन गाउने व्यक्तिगत अधिकारधनीको स्वर दिनरात मेरो कानमा समेत पर्न थाल्छ तब मेरो पारा चढ्छ । फेरी भजन पनि नौटङ्कि पाराका सब हिन्दी र नेपाली फिल्म लगायत लोकगीतमा आधारित सङ्गित र जे पायो त्यही शब्द । साँझपख त ती भजनप्रेमीहरु ‘यो नेपाली शिर उचाली संसारमा लम्कन्छ’ समेत गाइरहेका थिए । सायद त्यो राष्टिय गीतमा ‘गौतम बुद्ध’ को नाम पनि परेकाले त्यो भजन भयो ! नारायण गोपालका गीत देखि नेपाली पप र रिमिक्स सबैका शब्द परिवर्तन गर्ने बित्तिकै तात्तातो भजन तयार । रातिको १० बजे पछि चाहिँ भजन आतंक बन्द हुँदो रहेछ लेख्न के आँटेको थिएँ भक्तजनहरु त प्रसाद ग्रहण गरेर फेरी गाउन लागे जस्तो पो लाग्यो । यो रात भरि चलिरह्यो भने चाहिँ मेरा लागि २०६६ वर्ष “पुण्य वर्ष” रहने निश्चित छ । यसरी दिनरात भजन सुन्ने भाग्य नभएका र यतिखेर सम्म प्रभुको नाम नसुनि निदाइसकेका सबै अभागी प्रति सहानुभूति प्रकट गर्दै म बिदा हुन चाहन्छु । अन्तिममा अहिले मेरो कानले सुनिरहेको भजनको बोल -” घुम्तीमा लेट भयो भोले बाबालाई बाटैमा भेट भयो ” भजन गायक चिच्याउँदै थप प्रश्न गर्दछन् “हो कि होइन ?”

Jottings..

I’m a mess of thoughts and ideas. Some things that need to be written and some things are better left unwritten.And I am multitasking as I type this entry… seeing some question papers,asking some questions on big things like secularism and terrorism,and making sure all my questions for this session are answered by 4pm at the most as that is when we have a power-cut. The weekends have become normal once again. I have two days of lazing about in the house, gulping down books and newspapers and anything else ‘eatable’ in sight and preparing for yet another week of work…
CSR ( I am a novice in this issue) was the end of last week and tomorrow it will begin with Trade and Climate Change( I am no expert in this either)…Gawwd all these big issues are eating my head and the fearful part is I need to get something written in Nepali about it…ahhhhh……
